WMU Broncos focus on ground game

When you have Alex Carder slinging passes for your team, you know the passing game is in good hands. So the Western Michigan Broncos focused on the ground game in their latest scrimmage.  Tevin Drake did not participate due to injury, which left Brian Fields and Dareyon Chance to rush for over 100 yards each.  Carder completed 15-of-20 passes for 124 yards and a score.

Carder is a QB1 candidate for this fall but even with a healthy Drake, I would avoid the rest of the Bronco backfield.
