Tulsa's Cody Green exits spring ball as the Golden Hurricane's starting quarterback, beating out Kalen Henderson. "Probably the biggest separation between Cody and Kalen is the experience that Cody brings to the table having played in 17 games at Nebraska," coach Bill Blakenship said. "He just seems to have a little more poise and control right now."
The Nebraska transfer has some big shoes to fill. Former starter G.J. Kinne racked up 10837 yards of total offense and scored 96 touchdowns as a three-year starter. Green is also a dual-threat quarterback which makes him an intriguing fantasy option.
