Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd isn't getting a free pass after a pretty productive 2011. This spring the coaches, particularly offensive coordinator Chad Morris, have been very intentional in critiquing Boyd. The bottom line, 2011 was big, but the staff wants more from Boyd in 2012.
Boyd said the criticism is hard to take sometimes, but said he realizes it's a way to push him to be the player he's capable of being. If he takes that "next step" in his development, Boyd could have a huge 2012 campaign.
