Temple head coach Steve Addazio had to say goodbye to Bernard Pierce, but he welcomes back Matt Brown who as the backup to Pierce, rushed for 947 yards and six touchdowns. Addazio knows that Brown is the team's top playmaker and says that he could see 20-30 carries per game. He also went on to say that he wants to balance the carries between Brown and quarterback Chris Coyer.
In Addazio's scheme, it looks like Coyer will indeed be carrying the ball and at 215 pounds, he will be the power to Brown's speed.
