Michigan State quarterbacks Andrew Maxwell and Connor Cook were less than impressive this weekend combining for 133 yards, one touchdown, and three picks. Head coach Mark Dantonio eased concerns by saying "Our offense will bounce back."
The poor performance is likely as much a testament to the strength of the defense as it was to the actual play of the quarterbacks. Maxwell has the capabilities to be good so long as he limits mistakes and hands off the ball to Le'Veon Bell.
