Middle Tennessee entered this weekend's spring game with just two scholarship quarterbacks after Jeff Murphy blew out his ACL during Tuesday's practice.
With no Murphy, the starting job is squarely on Logan Kilgore. Kilgore showed signs of brilliance last year but also put up a few goose eggs. If he can learn to be more consistent, he is worth the occasional start.
