Rice head coach David Bailiff has impressive depth in the backfield so in an effort to keep Sam McGuffie on the field at all times, he has moved the speedy playmaker to slot receiver. "We're going to try and play him at running back, at the slot, at the wide receiver and get him the football...", says Bailiff.
If McGuffie gets enough touches he could be worth a flex spot, but at this point, I would take a wait-and-see approach.
