Jeremy Higgins has ascended to the No. 2 spot on the Hawaii quarterback depth chart after a solid weekend scrimmage.
The one-time scout team player has shown an ability to make plays with the offense and limit mistakes. After not even being in the quarterback conversation when the spring started, Higgins has improved rapidly and the coaching staff has noticed.
