Personally, I've read these stories since Saturday evening, and didn't put much stock in them. But these articles keep popping up, so it's at least time to watch this situation into September. There aren't many scenarios I can invision where Trickett flat out unseats Manuel, but if Florida State's season develops this year as it has in the past, maybe head coach Jimbo Fisher starts looking beyond 2012. At the very least, Manuel owners should probably consider Trickett with their last round pick.
