Iowa State running back Shontrelle Johnson (neck) still hasn't been cleared to do any football-related activity and will have to wait until July to find out whether or not he can play in 2012.
Neck injuries are nothing to mess around with - just ask Peyton Manning and Nick Collins of the NFL. If indeed Johnson can't suit up next season, James White was a bright spot for the Cyclones and should be able to carry the load in 2012.
