Under new offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone, the UCLA offense shined during the weekend's spring game. Quarterbacks Brett Hundley and Richard Brehaut stood out with Hundley passing for 185 yards, one touchdown, and one interception while Brehaut threw for 249 yards and four scores. The top receiver of the day was Jerry Johnson who had five catches for 125 yards and two touchdowns.
Keep in mind that the defense was not its true self due to injuries, but there is no mistaking the life that Mazzone has injected into the Bruins' offense. Whoever wins the starting quarterback job could be worth a sniff in later rounds while Johnathan Franklin is likely to eclipse 1,000 yards rushing once again.
