According to Penn State quarterbacks coach Charlie Fisher, Matt McGloin is leading all contenders for the starting job. McGloin has been battling with Paul Jones and Rob Bolden this offseason for the right to be the signal caller under new head coach Bill O'Brien.
This is one of those situations where no matter who wins the starting job, it doesn't really matter from a fantasy perspective as all have been pretty bad when they have taken snaps. The most important task for a Penn State quarterback at this time is to make sure they can pass well enough to keep the pressure off running back Silas Redd.
