USC receiver George Farmer is still recovering from the bite of a recluse spider he received last month. Farmer was bitten in the arm and underwent a scraping procedure on the arm this week. He's expected to make a full recovery.

A bite from a brown recluse spider is dangerous, but most are treatable. The issue for Farmer was that the bite can take a few weeks before causing any significant pain, and if left untreated, the bite can be fatal. He's expected to miss a week or two of football-related activities at this point.
