Rich Rod's goal: Keep Matt Scott healthy

Arizona coach Rich Rodriguez will continue to protect Matt Scott during practice, saying he will not be hit during fall camp and going as far as to say he's "nervous" about he health of his quarterback.

Scott's health will go a long way towards determining what kind of opening year Rodriguez has at Arizona. None of the Michigan quarterbacks in 2008 (coach's first year in Ann Arbor) had near the skill of Scott, and Rodriguez struggled to dig out of that first-year hole. Scott is definitely a fantasy factor, capable of truly blowing up against nearly any opponent. The scheme works.
