Oklahoma wide receiver Courtney Gardner has not been cleared to play this fall for the Sooners and thus will have to use his redshirt while he stays one more season at Sierra Community College. Gardner plans to enroll in January and will still have two years of eligibility.
Even without Gardner in the mix, the Sooners still have plenty of newcomers looking to make an impact like Trey Metoyer, Durron Neal, Sterling Shepard and fellow JUCO recruit, LaColtan Bester.
