Quarterbacks Everett Golson and Andrew Hendrix are considered "1A and 1B" in Notre Dame's quarterback race according to coach Brian Kelly. Kelly says he prefers one quarterback to emerge but is not opposed to rotating quarterbacks in the season opener against Navy.
If you're looking to take a Irish quarterback before the season starts, Golson would be my pick. But you'll like have to wait a few games to see how the race shakes out.
