Cal running back C.J. Anderson has had an excellent offseason and continues to look good so far in camp. "He's pushing to be the No. 1 back," Cal coach Jeff Tedford said. He looks great right now. He's probably our most well-rounded back."
The news is not favorable for Isi Sofele. He should still be the Bears' lead back, but Anderson is in line to command a few more carries this fall.
