Northwestern running back Treyvon Green is doing well and is expected to be ready for the season opener against Syracuse. Green took a big hit to the chest in practice last week and had to be taken to the hospital.

The Wildcats have a number of backs fighting for carries including Green, Mike Trumpy and utility man Venric Mark. Look for this to be a shared backfield.
