While there have been no stats reported in Texas' scrimmage on Monday, one thing is clear: Malcolm Brown is still the Longhorns top back. Freshman running back Johnathan Gray got a lot of reps to see what he could do, but coach Mack Brown indicated that all the freshmen were overwhelmed.
Brown was singled out as the best of the of the bunch, not only for his vision and toughness, but also for his pass blocking. If you've read this site long enough you know that RBs that can pass block will see more PT than those that can't.
