Michigan State talented freshman wide receiver Aaron Burbridge had arthroscopic knee surgery and will miss six weeks. This almost certainly spells redshirt.
What the Spartans don't have is proven wide receivers. What they do have is a ton of young, talented receivers vying for playing time. Burbridge will likely have 2012 to get everything good to go for 2013.
