Tulane shows strong ground game

In the Tulane spring game, the ground game was king.  Albert Williams, who has had the best spring of all the backs, was limited to just five carries for 25 yards.  J.T. McDonald lead the team with 71 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries, Stephen Barnett had a game high 12 carries for 61 yards and a touchdown, and walk on N'Gal Tillman had six carries for 51 yards.

A performance like that could possibly be the result of some poor defense but nonetheless this bodes well for the Tulane faithful.  Head coach Bob Toledo is committed to running the ball so Williams is a sleeper pick in smaller leagues.
