Question

I know its early but Spring ball has me thinking about next season. I play in a highly competitive 24 team league. We can save up to 3 guys but must give up a draft pick if we do. If I keep Tyler Tettleton I give up a 2nd, and if I keep Braxton Miller I give up a 4th. Obviously Tettleton is a higher rated fanatsy guy but the difference between whose available in a 24 team league between 2nd and 4th rounds is great. What do you think I should do?

Answer

I would keep Tyler Tettleton. His top target is gone, but he is a top 5 QB and absolutely worth a 2nd round pick. Meyer's offense is a good fit for Braxton Miller. But is he a 4th round talent? I think it is a few rounds lower. Tougher conference/schedule and I just don't see the typical OSU type talent surronding him. It is easier to carry the load in the MAC than the BIG. We are in the middle of a mock draft with Athlon and Collin Klien and Tettleton were the only two QBs I had with 1st tound grade. I will say the QB talent is pretty deep and not as top heavy as in past with Keenum/Tech QBs of old. So waiting on a QB is a good option this year. I'm just not sold on Miller.
