Minnesota has hired Jeff Horton as the new offensive coordinator. Horton replaces Jedd Fisch, who decided to take a job with the Seattle Seahawks.
Horton spent 2009 working with Matthew Stafford as quarterback coach for the Detroit Lions, and he brings a good deal of collegiate coaching experience. However don't expect a complete overhaul of the Gopher offense, as the new coach will adapt to the system already in place.
