Maryland offensive coordinator Gary Crowton will not be back with the Terps for a second season, according to the Washington Post.
Crowton was open about his interest and pursuit of the Colorado State head coaching job, and had a contract that guaranteed him 1.5 million over the next three years - staggering numbers for a financially-strapped school. Whoever Maryland hires will go a long way in determining who starts (and maybe who transfers) between quarterbacks Danny O'Brien and C.J. Brown.
